To promote best practice, and to support professional development opportunities, ACODE regularly initiates internal and collaborative projects with other national professional bodies.
Members with ideas and suggestions for new projects are encouraged to discuss them directly with members of the ACODE Executive in the first instance. The ACODE Executive will take into account the following issues when considering project funding applications:
- Relationship to ACODE Strategic Directions
- Potential to raise the profile of ACODE
- Potential for collaborative activity with other groups/bodies/agencies
- National/International significance
- The research plan associated with it
- Relevance to members
- Use and justification of proposed budget
- Timeframe for proposed project activities
- Potential uses of proposed project outcomes
- Sustainability
- Maintenance issues
- Relationship to previous work undertaken
- Availability of key contributors
- Level of “In kind” contribution – eg software/hardware, office space, communications etc
Please complete the Application for Project Funding and return to the Executive Officer. A signed hard copy must also be posted to ACODE, c/o The Executive Officer, Technology and Educational Design Services, Division of Learning and Teaching (Room 1C80) University of Canberra, ACT 2601.
